Mr. Prahlad Rai Agarwala holds the position of Executive Chairman at Rupa & Company Limited, having joined the Board of Directors on February 6, 1985. A law graduate from the University of Calcutta, his extensive career spanning over fifty years has been pivotal in establishing Rupa as India's premier organized hosiery brand. His innovative leadership and strategic insights have significantly propelled the company's global market presence. Under his leadership, Rupa & Company Limited earned the title of Most Promising Brand from The Economic Times in 2018. In recognition of his outstanding contributions to trade and industry, he was honored with the prestigious Padma Shri Award in 2022. Additionally, in 2021, the Calcutta Management Association bestowed upon him the Management Excellence Award, and in the same year, he received the Face of the Industry award from FOHMA. He also serves on the Governing Council of the Apparel, Made-ups, & Home Furnishing Sector Skill Council (AMHSSC), an entity under the Ministry of Textile, Government of India. Moreover, he was appointed the Honorary Consul of the Republic of Colombia in Kolkata by the President of India. A committed philanthropist and advocate for education, Agarwala is the founding chairman of Sobhasaria Engineering College in Sikar, Rajasthan, and serves as the Chairman of the Board of Governors at the Heritage Institute of Technology in Kolkata.

He is a well-known face in Kolkata and Sikar for various philanthropic and charitable activities and is also a founding member of Sobhasaria Engineering College Sikar, Rajasthan.

Mr. Kunj Bihari Agarwala is the Managing Director of Rupa & Company Limited and has been a member of the Board of Directors since July 1987. With more than four decades of rich experience in the textile industry, he has played a pivotal role in setting up the marketing and distribution channels for the company. He is responsible for driving the growth and implementation of strategic decisions in line with the vision & mission of Rupa. With several path-breaking initiatives and strategies, he has helped Rupa rise to its present position of eminence in the Indian hosiery industry. He is currently the President of the Federation of Hosiery Manufacturers Association of India (FOHMA), a governing body member of the Apparel Training and Design Centre (ATDC), Kolkata, and a member of the Cotton Yarn Advisory Board, (Ministry of Textiles, Government of India). In the past, he has been the president of the Merchants' Chamber of Commerce & Industry (Kolkata), West Bengal Hosiery Association (Kolkata). He strongly believes in serving society and has also been actively associated with various philanthropic and charitable institutions.
