The motto set by the institute, 'अत्त दीप विहरथ' (Be an island unto yourself), is the logo, which has been derived from Gautam Buddha's message to his monks. It signifies that only you have the power to liberate yourself from all your suffering.
In hindi it has the meaning: मनुष्य अपना उद्धार करने वाला या अपने आप को अज्ञान रूपी अन्धकार से निकालने वाला स्वयं ही है
