AICTE Approval
Established in 1945 and receiving statutory status in 1987 by an Act of Parliament, the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) oversees and enhances technical education in India. AICTE not only approves new technical institutions and courses, but also manages changes in enrollment capacities. It delegates certain powers to state governments for managing diploma-level institutions. AICTE sets standards, ensures quality through accreditation, and promotes technical education among marginalized groups by supporting innovations and research with grants.
Operating under an Executive Committee and headquartered in New Delhi, AICTE annually renews its approval for Sobhasaria Group of Institutions to offer technical and management courses.
