An industrial tour of the students of the Mechanical Engineering Department was organized from February 7th to February 9th, 2018 at “Preet Tractors Limited” in Patiala. The industry is a core manufacturing unit of Agricultural products like Tractors, crane combine harvesting machines, etc. Students got exposure to different CNC/VMC machines that were working in the company; they also got experience with robotics machines and the artificial intelligence working of various machine tools. The tour was very inspirational for the students who want to exceed their careers in the industry sector.
