The Department of Civil Engineering offers a structured program that prepares a student with knowledge of the design, construction and maintenance of the physical and naturally built environment, including public works such as roads, bridges, canals, dams, airports, sewerage systems, pipelines, structural components of buildings and railways. The department has state-of-the-art laboratories that are equipped with the most modern equipment suitable for classroom teaching and are also useful for commercial testing, which will provide practical exposure to the students.
