Sobhasaria Group of Institutions successfully organized a one-week Faculty Development Program (FDP) on "Outcome-Based Education" from January 27 to February 1, 2025. The primary objective of this program was to familiarize faculty members with the principles of outcome-based education and align their teaching methodologies with modern educational practices.
Dr. Amit Kumar Saraf from Jagannath University, Jaipur, was the keynote speaker for the program. He provided comprehensive guidance on curriculum design, assessment methods, and the use of technological tools related to educational outcomes. Through workshops and practical sessions, Dr. Saraf helped faculty members understand and adopt outcome-based education principles effectively.
Group Principal Dr. L. Solanki highlighted that during the program, faculty members were introduced to student-centered teaching, curriculum development, and effective outcome-based assessment methods. This initiative provided educators with new perspectives to enhance their teaching skills and improve the quality of education.
More than 30 faculty members participated in the program. During interactive sessions, they shared their experiences and found the program highly beneficial.
