The institute takes pride in its four-storey, fully air-conditioned library, which boasts modern wooden furniture and houses a treasure trove of knowledge comprising 38,551 books, 7513 titles, and 30 printed International and National journals. Spanning an area of 1,065 square meters, the library stands as a beacon of learning in the entire Shekhawati region. Our commitment remains steadfast in consistently updating the library with the latest knowledge resources.
All the books in the Central Library are bar-coded and managed through KOHA Library Management Software, ensuring efficient access to books and e-resources. The building is equipped with Wi-Fi Internet connectivity and provides ample space to accommodate up to 200 students studying at any given time.
Facilities
The library provides internet access through a LAN network comprising 10 multimedia computers in the Digital Library section. Users can conveniently access and download e-books, e-journals, e-newspapers, and magazines. All library materials are systematically classified using the Dewey Decimal Classification (DDC) system.
The Current Awareness Services (CAS) keeps users updated with the latest information through a comprehensive newspaper-clipping service. New arrivals are prominently displayed to inform patrons about recent additions to the collection.
For personal reading and study preferences, a dedicated section is available where users can read their own books and use their laptops. Additionally, reprography services are available on the premises. IP camera surveillance ensures the security of the library and its users.
The library offers a wide array of reference materials, including books, journals, magazines, and previous years’ question papers. The library membership is also open to citizens of the Shekhawati Region.
Users can also benefit from watching lectures delivered by IIT professors on a 42” LCD screen within the library premises.
Users can access information about the library online through the URL http://library.secs.ac.in/ . The library portal can be accessed (09:00 AM-04:00 PM) from anywhere. They can search the library database using various search options such as title, author, subject keywords, publisher, ISBN, and call number, etc. Users can also check the current availability status of library items and access their personal library accounts to view their borrowing details and other information.

The library operates from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM on all working days.
