The institute takes pride in its four-story, fully air-conditioned library, boasting modern wooden furniture and housing a treasure trove of knowledge comprising 38,551 books and 7,513 titles. Spanning an area of 1065 square meters, the library stands as a beacon of learning in the entire Shekhawati region. Our commitment remains steadfast in consistently updating the library with the latest knowledge resources available.

The entire library system is seamlessly computerized, utilizing LS-Ease library software for efficient access to book and journal locations. The building is equipped with Wi-Fi Internet connectivity and offers ample space to accommodate up to 200 students studying at any given time.

FACILITIES

The library provides internet access via a LAN network comprising 10 multimedia computers in the digital library section. Users can conveniently access and download books, CDs, DVDs, online journals, and magazines. All materials are meticulously classified using the Dewey Decimal Classification (DDC) system. Current Awareness Services (CAS) are provided through a comprehensive newspaper clipping service, keeping users updated with the latest information. New arrivals are prominently displayed to inform patrons about recent additions to the collection.

For personal reading preferences, a dedicated section within the library is allocated for users to peruse their own books, newspapers, and magazines. Additionally, reprography services are available onsite. IP camera surveillance ensures the security of the library premises. The library offers a wide array of reference materials, including books, journals, magazines, and previous years' question papers. Book-bank facilities are accessible to SC/ST students, and library membership is open to citizens of the Shekhawati Region.

Users can also benefit from watching lectures delivered by IIT professors on a 42” LCD screen within the library premises.

Working Hours

The library operates from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM on all working days.

However, upon request from students and faculty members, the timing can be extended.
